iCap Features

• Non-Removable Cap - never does one have to remember to return the cap to the bottle (open bottles pose a significant risk for poisoning). The iCap also has a mechanism that prevents breakage should the cap be forced ("slip function").
• Secure and User-Friendly Locking Mechanism - an easy turning dial with markings, that needs to be aligned with the cap to release the lock, difficult for children but easy for adults and seniors to access.
• Syringe Portal - in this position the liquid is still sealed and cannot leak out the bottle, but the portal accepts syringes from 2,5 to 50 ml sizes and standard size droppers.
• Self-Closing Pouring Portal - in this position the cap must be held in place for standard pouring, using slight rotational force. When released, the cap automatically returns to a closed safe position.
• Liquid Flow Limiter - the flow rate is controlled which allows for convenient and accurate dispensing.
• Pouring Spout - this specially designed additional feature aids pouring the liquid in a controlled stream, preventing spillage.
• Tamper Seal - the easy peel foil tab is the most effective way of ensuring and indicating that the cap is new, unused and hygienic.
• Compatibility/Manufacturing - the iCap closure has been designed to fit bottles ranging from 50 ml to 1000 ml but can easily be adapted to fit any type of container. The iCap uses the same plastics as present safety caps and has the same material volume which means no extra industry cost. The iCap also has the same dimensions as current high spec. Safety caps and therefore there is no need to change the packaging of current liquid medicines.
